Along with two other RG champions, Li Na and Yevgeny Kafelnikov, the two-time grand slam winner is part of the class of 2019.

"This day has finally arrived. I've been waiting for this for six months since it was announced in January," Mary Pierce said during an emotional speech in Newport, Rhode Island.
"Tennis has taught me so much in life. It's a great teacher. Anything you want to achieve doesn't come easy.
