With the first round complete, focus shifts to securing a place in the third round at Roland-Garros.

Play will commence at 11:00am on all courts with the likes of Grand Slam champions Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams and Dominic Thiem returning to action.

Three-time champion Williams meets Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova in a US Open quarter-final rematch, while top seed and 2018 champion Simona Halep meets Romanian compatriot Irina-Camelia Begu.

US Open champion and men's third seed Dominic Thiem faces former world No.8 Jack Sock.
