Legends Trophy by Emirates: week-long entertainment
The Legends Trophy by Emirates is back on Court Suzanne-Lenglen. It's an opportunity to catch a glimpse of previous Roland-Garros champions
Three categories for more entertainment
Twelve champions in three categories (men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles) will take part in this year's event. As last year, the pairings will change throughout the tournament, which has become a favourite for the public.
It's a dynamic that Mansour Bahrami - the event's creator and one-time participant - hopes they can maintain: "I hope the public will be there and that we'll all enjoy ourselves together. Our victory will be happiness shared with everyone!"
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gilles Simon in action
They're already back. Recent retirees from the professional circuit, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gilles Simon are taking part this year. Tsonga makes no secret of his excitement: "It's great to be back on the clay court at Roland-Garros. It's a really special moment."
Also in attendance will be Mats Wilander, three-time winner here at Roland-Garros; John McEnroe, finalist in 1984; and Francesca Schiavone, winner on Chatrier in 2010. She is paired with Daniela Hantuchova against Lucie Safarova and Nathalie Tauziat for the first Legends match, fourth up on Court Suzanne-Lenglen on Tuesday.
