Roland-Garros 2018: the entry list is revealed!

The list of participants in the men’s and women’s singles tournaments has been revealed.

The list of participants in the men’s and women’s singles tournaments at Roland-Garros 2018, which will be played from Sunday 27th May to Sunday 10th June, has now been revealed.

In the women’s singles, six of the 108 players entered directly into the draw have a protected ranking. They are: Serena Williams (USA), Victoria Azarenka (BLR), Saisai Zheng (CHN), Bethanie Matteks-Sands (USA), Kristina Kucova (SVK) and Vania King (USA).

The rest of the 128 places in the women’s singles draw will be filled by 12 qualifiers and 8 wildcards.

In the men's singles, three players benefit from a protected ranking: Andreas Haider-Maurer (AUT), Yoshihito Nishioka (JPN) and Steve Darcis (BEL).

The rest of the 128 places in the men’s singles draw will be filled by 16 qualifiers and 8 wildcards.

Wheelchair tennis with The Adecco Group

The wheelchair tennis events (men’s and women’s) will take place from Thursday 7th June to Saturday 9th June 2018. 

The 7 world’s best players (as per the rankings on 16th April 2018) are all entered in the draw. A wildcard will be assigned for the men’s and women’s singles at a later date. The players accepted will play in both the singles and doubles. 

List of entrants:

  • Men's: Alfie Hewett, Gustavo Fernandez, Shingo Kunieda, Stéphane Houdet, Gordon Reid, Nicolas Peifer and Stefan Olsson.
  • Women's: Yui Kamiji, Diede de Groot, Aniek van Koot, Sabine Ellerbrock, Marjolein Buis, Katharina Kruger and Kgothatso Montjane.
