All eyes on the finals at Roland-Garros!
Anyone is eligible to enter the Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault, which will see the world’s top players go head-to-head in the final stage organised in the grounds of Roland-Garros on Saturday 25 May. To be in with a chance to compete, three qualification phases open to the general public will be held over the coming weeks:
- Open Qualifier #1 from 7 to 12 March à 1 qualifier
- Open Qualifier #2 from 21 to 26 March à 1 qualifier
- Open Qualifier #3 from 11 to 16 April à 1 qualifier
The three qualifiers from these events will go on to join Tennis Clash’s top-ranked female player in the world, the winner of the qualifying event for top players, as well as the reigning two-time champion, William “Fozzy” Foster, and Gilles Simon. Having worked as an analyst on last year’s event, the former ATP world n°6 and Davis Cup winner has been given a wild card for this year’s tournament! Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault, the world’s most inclusive eSport competition, will continue its collaboration with Handigamers – a French non-profit helping gamers with disabilities live their passion – with a place reserved for the top Handigamer who will fly the flag for the organisation in the finals.
€5,000 prize money
In addition to the prestigious trophy, €5,000 will be shared between the winner and the runner-up of the competition, organised by the French Tennis Federation and sponsored by Renault and Mastercard. Prior to the big final, which will be broadcast live on Twitch, the eight finalists will also enjoy a special three-day eSport experience that includes a workshop with Gameward, the largest eSport club in France, founded in 2018 and based in Boulogne-Billancourt.
