The “Wheelchair Tennis for All” event, hosted by the French Tennis Federation (FFT) in partnership with The Adecco Group and Babolat, will be held on Wednesday 5 June from 10 am to 6 pm on Court 8.

Mini tennis courts will be set up especially for the occasion.

There will be plenty of exciting moments throughout the day, taking place for the sixth year in a row at Roland‑Garros. The public will have the privilege of meeting French Paralympic champions.

The matches will take place on Wednesday 5 June from 11 am on Court 8, where plenty of entertainment will be taking place for the “Wheelchair Tennis for All” event. They will play two semi-finals and the final to the best of three sets, with a super tie-breaker for the deciding set, with hopes of taking home the trophy for this first edition.

The FTT, whose commitment to social outreach has led it to mobilise wheelchair tennis as an inclusive and therapeutic tool, has developed wheelchair tennis for a number of years.

On this note, the “Wheelchair Tennis for All” event seeks to shine the spotlight on this sport and foster interaction between people with disabilities and able-bodied people. It also aims to encourage the inclusion of wheelchair tennis players in tennis schools at clubs affiliated with the French Tennis Federation.

Following the event, the draw will be held at 5 pm for the Roland-Garros wheelchair tennis tournaments, to be contested from 6-8 June on the courts at Roland‑Garros. The draw will take place in the Adecco Group area in the Village.
