Memories of a champion: Michael Chang
Friday 20 September 2024
Youngest male winner of a Grand Slam tournament (17 years, 3 months and 18 days), Michael Chang has written tennis history on the Roland Garros courts. From his victorious run in 1989 – marked by his iconic underarm serve in the round of 16 against Ivan Lendl – to his loss in 1995 final, the American recalls his best memories on the Parisian clay courts. The emotions remain strong for the public's favourite, who is delighted to see him every year at the famous Trophée des Légendes.
