Roland-Garros 2024
Carlos Alcaraz's best shots
A boys’ champion in 1980 and a men’s doubles winner four years later with Yannick Noah, Henri Leconte talks about his rise to glory at Roland-Garros before reflecting on his 1988 final defeat to Mats Wilander, a match in which his relationship with the Paris crowd turned a little sour. The fans were right behind him, however, during his “masked avenger” exploits in a famous 1992 run, which came just a few months after he had helped France win the Davis Cup.
