eSport: Three French players in running for title

The international final of Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas is taking place this weekend in Paris.

Roland-Garros, BNP Paribas and Bigben are pleased to unveil the programme for the international final of the Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas. The world’s first eTennis tournament, which is part of the Tennis World Tour Roland-Garros edition video game, is taking place this weekend at Roland-Garros.

The final phases of the international competition will take place this Saturday, 8 June, on the southern concourse of Court Suzanne-Lenglen between 10 am and 2 pm. Watch as the world’s 12 best players, selected following national qualifications, battle it out for a spot in the final. The tournament will be commentated by Norman “Genius” Chatrier, the grandson of Philippe Chatrier, who gave his name to central court at Roland-Garros.

The 12 players competing this weekend are: 

The grand final will take place on Sunday, 9 June, on Court 1, as part of the We Are Tennis Show organized by BNP Paribas. Between 11 am and 12 pm, the two finalists selected the previous day will go head to head. Fabien Lévêque, a journalist at France Télévisions, will join “Genius” as a commentator, and the event will be broadcast live on France TV Sport and the Roland-Garros Facebook page. Three French players are in the running for this Roland-Garros eSport title.

All participants will win a share of an exceptional cash prize worth €10,000, with €5,000 going to the winner.
