Order of play: Monday Day 9

Monday heralds the completion of fourth-round matches with a trio of Grand Slam champions in action.

With the first round complete, focus shifts to securing a place in the third round at Roland-Garros.

Play will commence at 11:00am on all courts with the likes of Grand Slam champions Novak Djokovic, Petra Kvitova and Sofia Kenin in action.

Fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas will bid for his maiden Roland-Garros quarter-final when he meets 18th seed Grigor Dimitrov for the first time, in the battle of the single-handed backhands.

Top seed Djokovic has dropped a mere 15 games total through his opening three rounds but will face a sterner test on Monday when he faces Russian 15th seed Karen Khachanov. The Serb leads the pair’s head-to-head 3-1 although they have never met on clay.

Seventh-seeded Czech Kvitova last reached the semi-finals in Paris five years ago and will take on China’s Zhang Shuai for a quarter-final berth. The dual Wimbledon champion leads their head-to-head 3-2 with two meetings on clay split.

This year’s Australian Open champion Kenin will be looking to end the run of French hope Fiona Ferro on Monday. The American won their only previous meeting on clay but Ferro will be bidding to use home ground advantage to reach her first Slam quarter-final.
