Order of play: Friday Day 13

Twelve-time champion Nadal meets Schwartzman as world No.1 Djokovic faces Tsitsipas for final berths.

It is Day 13 with the men’s singles and women’s doubles finals spots on the line.

No.2 seed Nadal has held the trophy at Roland-Garros 12 times and will bid to secure his 13th appearance in the final when he meets his Rome conqueror, Argentinian Diego Schwartzman, in Friday’s first semi-final. Nadal leads the pair’s head-to-head 9-1, including their only prior meeting at Roland-Garros two years ago.

In the second men’s singles semi-final on Court Philippe-Chatrier, top seed and 2016 champion Novak Djokovic takes on Greek fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Serb leads their head-to-head ledger 3-2, including the lone time they met on clay in Madrid last year.

In the women’s doubles semi-finals, defending champions and No.2 seeds Timea Babos of Hungary and Kristina Mladenovic of France take on Czech fourth seeds Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova.

They will meet a first-time Grand Slam finalist pair for the title as 14th seeds Alex Guarachi of Chile and Desirae Krawczyk of the US square off against the unseeded Pole, Iga Swiatek, and American, Nicole Melichar.
