Roland-Garros 2023: Entry lists announced

Check out the entry lists for Roland-Garros 2023, which runs from May 22 to June 11.

With the start of the qualifying competition for the Parisian Grand Slam just five weeks away, the entry lists for the main draws of the women’s and men’s singles have now been revealed.

Women’s singles

Seven of the 104 players entering the women’s draw have benefitted from rankings protection after returning to the Tour following injury or pregnancy. They include Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (21), the 2021 runner-up, and Elina Svitolina (27), who is back after the birth of her first child. Jennifer Brady (14), Daria Saville (54), Patricia Maria Tig (65), Sara Sorribes Tormo (68) and Kristina Kucova (90) are the five other returning players.

Men’s singles

Seven players in the main draw have also had their rankings protected, among them Lloyd Harris (47), Kyle Edmund (48), Hugo Dellien (73), Guido Pella (75) and Jiri Vesely (94). This year’s French contingent includes Gaël Monfils (35), who will be making his 16th Roland-Garros appearance, and Jérémy Chardy (88), who made a sensational return to singles and doubles action at the Australian Open in January.

Qualifications

The qualifying rounds take place on 22-26 May, with players battling it out to reach the main draw.
