It’s time for Roland-Garros 2019 and here are some stand-out stats to look out for on Day One of the Parisian tournament.
1 – Anastasia Potapova is contesting her first Roland-Garros main draw and will be gunning for her first top-10 victory when she faces world No.5 Angelique Kerber on Sunday.
1 – Against Venus Williams on Sunday, Elina Svitolina will be targeting her first clay-court win of 2019 having been hampered by a knee injury in recent months.
4 – Two decades after his 1999 debut, Federer, who opens his campaign on Sunday against Lorenzo Sonego, has returned to Roland-Garros for his appearance here in four years. His last match at Porte d'Auteuil was a quarter-final loss to his fellow Swiss Stan Wawrinka in 2015.

16 – Sonego is attempting to become the first player to defeat Federer in the first round of a Grand Slam in 16 years. The last player to pull off that feat was Luis Horna, who sent the Swiss packing in the Roland-Garros first round in 2003.
20 – Taking on Germany's Maximilian Marterer on Sunday, sixth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas (20 years 301 days) could become the youngest Grand Slam men’s singles champion since Djokovic (20 years 250 days) won the 2008 Australian Open if he makes a successful run to the title this fortnight. The gregarious Greek would also become the youngest man to lift the Coupe des Mousquetaires since Nadal (20 years 8 days) in 2006.
27 – Belinda Bencic will try to post her 27th match-win of 2019 when she faces Jessika Ponchet on Sunday. Only Petra Kvitova (28) and Karolina Pliskova has tallied more victories this season.
80 – Fifth seed Kerber is looking to post the 80th main draw victory on clay of her career when she takes on Potapova on Sunday.
