Roland-Garros worldwide

The FFT organises various events with the aim of promoting Roland-Garros worldwide and year-round.

The FFT is fully committed to promoting Roland-Garros worldwide in order to spread the word about the Parisian Grand Slam and encourage people to play on clay in all four corners of the globe.

A pioneer in organising eTennis competitions since 2018, every year the FFT demonstrates its ability to innovate by combining traditional sport with esport.

In 2025, Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault will be played for the third time on mobile, more specifically on Tennis Clash, a free tennis game that is number one in the world. The final phase of the world’s biggest eTennis tournament took place at Roland-Garros on 24th May and will be broadcasted live on Twitch!

With more than 548 000 players at the Open qualifiers in 215 countries in 2024, Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault confirms its success in France and internationally. This year, Renault and Mastercard renew their commitment as partners.

Since 2014, Roland-Garros Junior Series by Renault grants the winners a wildcard for the Roland-Garros Junior tournament, after a series of qualifying tournaments played on clay. An initiative that aims to support the future of tennis.

This spring, the competition will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, with the exceptional presence of renowned ambassadors: Juan Martin Del Potro and Gabriela Sabatini. A total of 32 players - 16 boys and 16 girls under the age of 16 from 11 different South American countries - will take part of a tournament that will happen for the third at the prestigious "Sociedade Harmonia de Tênis" club in São Paulo. An unforgettable experience for these talented youngsters, and an essential step in their progress and in their lives as future champions, which as enable Joao Fonseca (Brazil) for example, to achieve his dream in 2022.

Boosted by the all-round success of the Brazilian stage of the tournament, Roland-Garros Junior Series by Renault has been exported to Japan last year. In october 2024, the top 32 Asian players under the age of 17 (16 boys and 16 girls) got together in the Dai-Ichi Life Sogoen Tennis Court in Tokyo, where Japan’s young professional tennis players train for the clay season. With Kei Nishikori as ambassador, Lisa Kamigata and Hyu Kawanishi won this first edition.

Set up by the French Tennis Federation in collaboration with the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF), the Japanese Tennis Association (JTA) and with the support of Renault, BNP Paribas, Accor and Wilson, this initiative aims to shine the spotlight on a continent that is brimming with tennis talents.
