There were also some outstanding performances in the men’s singles. Few impressed more than Lorenzo Musetti, who was in stunning form against Marco Cecchinato and Novak Djokovic. Musetti was joined in the last 16 by compatriots Matteo Berrettini and Jannik Sinner, the first time three Italians have progressed as far at a Grand Slam event in the Open Era.
