Six-time Grand Slam singles champion Sam Schroder was denied another title as Guy Sasson took a 6-2, 3-6, 7-6(10-7) victory in the quad singles final in a match that kept the fans on Court 13 guessing.

Schroder has made the final at Roland-Garros for the last three years, but it is the one Grand Slam that eludes him. 

It was a rematch of the pair’s Australian Open final in January. Sasson lost out on that occasion and today wins his first Grand Slam singles title.
