It was more Nadal consoling Thiem than the young Austrian congratulating the King of Clay at the end. Afterwards the defeated Thiem expressed his awe of Nadal: "If you win one single Grand Slam tournament 11 times, then this is just very exceptional and amazing. You need to have many extraordinary skills and talents and work ethics to achieve that."
