Third time lucky for Simona

Simona Halep finally gets her hands on Coupe Suzanne-Lenglen after triumphing in her third Roland-Garros final.

Until she was broken in the fourth game of the second set, Sloane Stephens looked like she was steaming towards victory herself. Halep had anticipated the challenge: "I was prepared actually for three hours' match...long rallies, long points, and I just wanted to not give up even if she was leading."
