Nadal flawless against Gasquet

Gasquet broke with Nadal serving for the set and held with an ace for 3-5, the rumbles around the stands growing louder with each bold winner. But as he always does against the likes of Roger Federer or Stan Wawrinka on the clay, Nadal reverted to his proven go-to – peppering the Frenchman’s single-handed backhand to seal the opening set 6-3.
