Dzumhur’s deft drop shots and persistent pace were troubling Zverev, who struck one too many passive strokes. The world No.3 managed to hold from 0-40 at 3-3 in the third, but that was a warning sign. Dzumhur canvassed the net with aplomb and broke at the next opportunity to then stand on the brink of a memorable victory. Zverev didn’t panic, with more concern for what was on his plate later: “Mainly I was thinking what I was going to have for lunch at times,” he said.
