Rafael Nadal through the lens of Roland-Garros photographers

André Ferreira : "I wanted to take a picture of Nadal changing and tying his headband. After chatting with my colleague Corinne, who knows all his on-court rituals, I knew at what point in the match he’d do it. So, I made sure I was in the right place (i.e. behind the umpire’s chair) at the right time to capture the photo I wanted. I managed to do that and then continued to photograph him changing his top, the towels... The drop of sweat was a bonus, but I like it!"
