2021 rewind - Lessons learned this season
With two Grand Slam wins already to her name (Roland-Garros 2016 and Wimbledon 2017), Garbiñe Muguruza capped a stunning return to the world elite by winning the WTA Finals in Guadalajara. “I think this has been my best year ever,” she said. “I didn’t win a Grand Slam, but I really feel I’ve been happier, more stable, less dramatic, and in general I’m very happy about it.” Now back up to No. 3 in the world, she is entitled to think big for 2022.
