Alexander Zverev was left contemplating a miserable end to what had been a breakthrough tournament for the young German. The 21-year-old No.2 seed suffered a hamstring injury in the first set of his match against Dominic Thiem and quickly subsided to a straight-sets defeat. Yet he was remaining upbeat. "This is a very positive week for me. My first quarter-final. I lost to a great player," said 'Sascha'.
