Dominic Thiem was firing on all cylinders as he reached a third successive semi-final in the men's singles, blowing away No.2 seed Alexander Zverev, who was struggling badly with a hamstring injury that got worse from the middle of the first set. The Austrian is great friends with his German victim and admitted: "It's not easy to play against a friend who's struggling with injury." He made it look easy, though.
