Venus and Serena reunite for victory

Combining at a major for the first time in two years, Venus and Serena Williams scored a popular win.

Venus and Serena might well ponder on their first victory here in 1999 – 19 years ago! - when they beat Martina Hingis and Anna Kournikova. In 2010, they consigned the Czech-Slovenian team of Květa Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik to runners-up status. Next up, will either be Sara Errani and Kirsten Flipkens or the French teenagers Clara Burel and Diane Parry.
