On the occasion of his final Wimbledon – he retired for good at the end of the Paris Olympics – Andy Murray received a heartfelt tribute from an appreciative Centre Court crowd. In front of the packed stands, the former world No. 1 and two-time singles champion at the All England Club (2013 and 2016) was overcome with emotion, saying: "Look it's hard because I’d love to keep playing but I can't. Physically it’s too tough now, all of the injuries, they have added up and they haven't been insignificant. I want to play forever; I love the sport and it's given me so much. It's taught me loads of lessons over the years I can use for the rest of my life. I don't want to stop, so it’s hard."
