The Round of 16 featured another fantastic performance by Félix Auger-Aliassime, the only player to have pushed Rafa to five sets at this year’s tournament. Watched by Toni Nadal, the young man from Montréal finally lost the match 3-6 6-3 6-2 3-6 6-3 in the same round as at the Australian Open. Both “positive” yet frustrating losses that he would overcome with an outstanding end to the season.
