Having reached the semi-finals at Indian Wells, Carlos Alcaraz became the third-youngest player ever to win a Masters 1000 in Miami, aged 18 years and 333 days (after Michael Chang in Toronto in 1990 and Rafael Nadal in Monte Carlo in 2005).
