The Australian, who played one of the year’s best matches against Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third round, played his first Grand Slam singles final at the 2022 tournament. Despite winning the opening set, he was no match for Novak Djokovic, who won his 7th Wimbledon title, the 21st Major title of his career.
