Last but not least, 35-year-old Novak Djokovic became the oldest-ever winner of the Masters when he clinched his sixth crown in Turin. It was the high point of a very strange season for the Serbian player, who had been unable to compete at the Australian Open and US Open. Djokovic, who holds the record for the most weeks at the top of the rankings (373), is determined to get back on the throne in 2023 and is aiming for his 22nd Grand Slam title in Melbourne in January.
