Though she had been unbeaten in a final since Lugano in 2019, Swiatek finally lost to Barbora Krejcikova in Ostrava. Having triumphed in Tallin a few days earlier, the Czech player confirmed her comeback at home by lifting the trophy after a blockbuster match that lasted 3 hours 16 minutes (5-7 7-6(4) 6-3). Undoubtedly one of the best matches of the season.
